The Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo has announced the end of Monday sit-at-home, resolved to fiercely go after criminal elements who are out to threaten the peace and distort the State development.
The Governor who disclosed this on social media platform on Monday, said "following the unanimous agreement of leaders across board, and the endorsement of the entire body of Christ.
"I am pleased to inform our people that today, Monday April 4, 2022 marks the official end to the "Monday sit-at-home" in Anambra State".
Recalled that it's been months of enforcing a Monday sit-at-home order to protest the illegal detention of separatist leader Nnamdi Kanu , the new Anambra Governor secured agreement with the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB to end the weekly protest.
Governor Soludo also offered Amnesty to all the brothers in the various forests around the state. "Give us your guns, and trust us to help you forge a meaningful living".
He reiterated that task of taking back the dear State and reclaiming the dignity of the collective existence is at the heart of his administration's drive towards a Liveable and Prosperous Homeland.
"This task is a MUST", Governor Soludo said.
The Governor said he will be announcing the membership of the Peace and Reconciliation Committee that will look into addressing all areas of sincere challenge,
"Including interfacing with the Federal Government on behalf of all Prisoners of conscience", while called for support and prayer, says "Anambra is the Light of the Nation, we must keep it so".
