Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta has urged Muslim faithfuls to remember the country in prayers even as the nation edge closer to the general elections.
Kenyatta who made the appeal on his social media platform, conveyed his goodwill message to all Muslim faithfuls as they begin the Holy Month of Ramadan.
According to him, "This is a month to refocus on Allah, purify the soul, strengthen ties and take care of the less fortunate. The true Spirit of Ramadan.
"Ramadan is an important time that paves way for thoughtful reflection, fasting and devotion", Kenyan President said.
