Broadmind Chief Executive Officer, Mobolaji Akinfenwa who made the announcement on Wednesday in a statement released to the media, regretted any inconveniences this might caused, while still hoping to see Gombe youths at the program on the new date.
Akinfenwa stated that this spiritual obligation (Ramadan fast) might impact negatively on the involvement of Muslim faithfuls, especially the training programmes set aside for the week prior as well as activities building up to the main event.
"The training aspect involves energy and time, due to the fasting, ladies require time to attend to domestic things, while for the men may not really have energy for sections tha require energy such as polystyrene ceiling insulation, and some other Artisanship training".
Build and Groove: Gombe 2022 was supposed to be held in May, the event which is basically for the youths on opportunities at their beck and call for legitimate daily income without depending on Government for employment or private Organizations.
