The Yoruba activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has called on Yoruba sons and daughter to rise and speak against the moves by Government to take over the ancestral land and natural resources for Ruga in disguise.
In a statement released by his Spokesman, Olayomi Koiki on Thursday, titled "YORUBA SONS AND DAUGHTERS RISE UP AGAINST SYSTEMATIC LAND GRABBING AND CEDING OF YOUR ANCESTRAL RESOURCE TO A SECTIONAL WATER RESOURCES BILL".
According to the statement, "Insistently a section of Nigeria that has failed with Ruga project, has been repackaging a water resources bill, and presenting it to our law makers to pass.
"This Section controls the Government and they have hijacked the whole system and made it a sectional Government", he claimed.
Igboho further explained that it is well known that the Government took over the Oil in the South and ever since then, they overpowered the control of the resources more than the indigenous people.
He said, "The Minister for Water resources argued that it will be a source of revenue. But they have been in control of crude oil for decades making tons of money supposedly for the country.
"And they have nothing to show for the billions they make from it. So they want to tell us now that the tax from Our water is what will make any difference. It is very laughable", Igboho added.
The Activist emphasized that this is one of the reason he is convinced that Nigeria will never work, "It is a Scam.
"The Fulani Government and their terrorists from all over are advancing from all corner in order to take over our land and enslave our people.
"I will state here again that they should prepare for failure and defeat. It is very sure that they shall fail, by the power of almighty God", he voiced out.
Igboho boldly said, "let no one be deceive Yoruba Nation will stand. Enough is enough. But in the meantime let our law makers, Governor, Kings and Chiefs, all the true son of Yoruba land rise up against taking over the land and water resources".
"So let no one be deceive Yoruba Nation will stand. Enough is enough.
"But in the meantime let our law makers, Governor, kings and chief, all the true son of Yoruba land Rise up against this."
The activist noted that this is an evil plan. "Why is this man Sada Soli a Buhari brother insistently presenting the same bill over and over again is that not suspicious?.
"I know it's part of their plan. So I call on every Indigenous people from south and middle belt. Rise up now and speak. I heard Governor Orthom is the only one that is talking".
Calling on the Governors to speak out now "or else they are betrayal to their people. The law gave the Government the custodian of our ancestral land.
"So how can they now cede it to Fulani without our consent. Then they are betrayal", Igboho claimed.
