Build and Groove: Gombe 2022 comes in segments, trainings, others

Organizer of the upcoming mind-blowing event "Build and Groove: Gombe 2022" scheduled for July 10, 2022, said that the event comes in five segments which includes Trainings, Talent hunt, Exhibitions, Fun-time with special need (challenged) individuals and Entertainment (The Main Event).


Directors of Broadmind Special Projects Ltd and the Team members of Build and Groove who made this known while apologizing for the long silence during the Ramadan fast, were happy to have witnessed the spiritual exercise successfully, also wished everyone Barka da Sallah.


Recalled that the Organizers announced the postponement of the event which was early scheduled for May to July due to the Ramadan fasting, saying the important spiritual exercise will impact negatively on Muslims involvement especially the training programmes set aside for the week prior as well as activities building up to the main event.


According to the Organizers, "We are happy to have witnessed the spiritual exercise (Ramadan) successfully, wishing everyone Barka da Sallah. During the Ramadan fast lot of changes were made for the great progress and delivery of Build and Groove: Gombe 2022 ahead,


"Which gives us the opportunity to step up the deliverables. The event will be in five segments including Trainings, Talent hunt, Exhibitions, Fun-time with special need (challenged) individuals and Entertainment (The Main Event). All the above segment will run from 4th to 8th of July 2022", the Organizers said.


Adding that training opportunities will be available for individuals,  professionals who wish to gain more professional insights and learn entrepreneurship both for advanced and beginner learners. "Courses include Data Analysis, Programming for Starters, Polystyrene Ceiling Installation, Flexi-Clay Materials Installation, SPS Fusion and Clamping, Photography etc".


Also, Talent Hunt for individuals to contest in different technical and life skills in Construction (Masonry, Tiling, Painting, Plumbing, Carpentry), Graphics Design, Calligraphy, Art Paintings, Hair weaving/Beauty Makeup, etc. While Exhibition opportunity is for brands and individuals to showcase their Products and Services.


"Product Exhibition Categories include: Aluminium building materials, Architectural models/services, building products, building systems, Coatings, Sealants/Ceilings, Conveying Systems, Doors, Flooring, Landscape products, Lighting/lighting products and services, Switches and controls, etc.


"Fun-time with special-need (challenged) individuals will be crafted to engage individuals in a fun environment where they display their talents in crafts, music, games/sports and other skills. Prizes and gifts will be awarded to top performers and all attendees will also be catered for".


The Organizers noted that Entertainment which is the main event will roundup the one-week programs. "Some of the Nation’s top celebrities in the Entertainment industry will be performing at this event, awards of the winners of the completions, training, empowerment will be presented on the 10th of July 2022.


"We have however made a change of one of our top celebrity, Naira Marley due to personal reasons as we respect his privacy. And so on this note, we are still in discussion with another top celebrity which we will unfold as we progress on the build up to the main event.


"Before then other top performing artists will still be available to grace the event, such as Ali Jita, Sani Danja, Ado Gwanja, Chuks D General, Kalbang Maman mu, Mc Bless, Buzu, DJ Ize and much more, stay with us as we unfold more information.


"We are also in discussion with top exposition organiser, promoter of local manufacturers of construction materials in Sub-Sahara spanning more than 30 years, Archibuilt Exposition to support this event, so as to showcase these manufacturers in the northeast for recognition by the professionals in Nigeria".
