The Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau has revealed that he has tested positive for Covid-19, added that he will be following health guidelines and isolating.
Trudeau who made this known on his social media platform on Monday, said he is okay because he has taken Covid-19 vaccine shots.
He called on Canadians to get vaccinated if they haven't and if they have, they should get boosted. "Let's protect our healthcare system, each other, and ourselves", Trudeau said.
According to his tweets, "I’ve tested positive for COVID-19. I’ll be following public health guidelines and isolating.
"I feel okay, but that’s because I got my shots. So, if you haven’t, get vaccinated - and if you can, get boosted. Let’s protect our healthcare system, each other, and ourselves".
