Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has affirmed the footprints of consummate businessman, Chairman Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote in key sectors of the country's economy.
In a statement released by the President Spokesman, Femi Adesina on Sunday, as the President joined family members, friends, associates to celebrate milestone of 65th birthday, 10th of April with the business magnate.
President Buhari hailed the remarkable results Dangote have achieved in production and supply of food items, making him a household name.
"Also, his more recent dynamism in buoying the economy through heavy investments in building Africa’s largest refinery, fertiliser manufacturing company, and cement factories".
The President who wished him greater service to God, country, and humanity, shared the memorable occasion with the Dangote Group including management and members of staff.
"And many visionary leaders that daily redefine the livelihood of Nigerians for the better, and drive competitiveness in the economy with clear ranking of excellence in provision of goods and services", the President said.
Gbajabiamila extols Dangote at 65
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila has extolled the virtues of business mogul and the President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on his 65th birthday.
Gbajabiamila was elated that Dangote has used virtually his 65 years on earth for service to humanity through his philanthropic and entrepreneurial activities.
The speaker noted with delight how the Dangote Group has become a massive employer of labour for Nigerians across the board.
He said Alhaji Aliko Dangote remains a focal point and a major contributor to the Nigerian economy through his chains of businesses.
"Dangote will always be a reference point in Nigeria, Africa and the world. I join millions of Nigerians to thank him for the massive work he is doing in the development of our country.
"I wish him a happy 65th birthday and pray that the Almighty Allah will continue to protect him and grant him more fruitful years in sound health," the speaker said.
